COVID-19

Stop the Spread!

Dear Brides & Clients,

This pandemic didn’t change my perception of hygiene.
I’ve been practicing strict cleanliness and sanitation way before it happened.

Now that this virus still exists, I have added more safety measures. I have also taken courses that cover hygiene practices in the field of professional beauty.

For your peace of mind, and with your cooperation, please be guided by the safety protocols that I will be imposing prior to, during and after our session.

XOXO,
Mel

PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT:

CONSULTATION

We will discuss your pegs (the look that you want), your concerns and inquiries via chat.

If you are not feeling well, let’s reschedule your appointment.

GREETING

With a heavy heart, I won’t be able to shake your hands, or make any affectionate gesture to you like I used to.

PREPARATION

Hand washing for 20-30 seconds will be done before and after setting up the make-up station.

DURING THE SESSION

MY NUMBER ONE RULE:

Up to now, I still wear a mask. Then I also use disposable gloves.

No double dipping of brushes into the products.

My hands will be sprayed from time to time with 75% alcohol.

Products are not dispensed directly into the client’s face. Very tedious and takes a lot of time, but I’m all against cross- contamination:

  • A spatula/ disposable applicator will be used to get a product and transferred into my mixing palette.
  • My station will be free from mobile phones and other personal items.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

-We will limit the number of people strictly into 3: My assistant, you and me in the room.

MY TOOLS

-All sponges, mascara wands, lip brushes – are all single use and disposed of immediately after

-Brushes are thoroughly washed in antibacterial cleanser after each gig (I have 4 sets of brushes)
